Key ResponsibilitiesYou will assist in various critical areas, ensuring smooth daily operations. Your main responsibilities will include:Accounts Payable Assistance: Supporting the processing of vendor invoices, managing our shared inbox, and ensuring timely approvals and payments.Expense and Credit Card Management: Reviewing employee expense reports and company credit card transactions, ensuring accurate categorization and documentation.Customer Payments Tracking: Monitoring incoming payments and updating customer invoice statuses for seamless financial management.Financial Documentation Preparation: Assisting in payroll, reimbursement documentation, and supporting invoice amendments as required.Month-End Closing Support: Contributing to reconciliations, reviewing open items, and ensuring data accuracy in our accounting systems.General Finance Operations Support: Day-to-day tasks such as organizing files, updating spreadsheets, and communicating with stakeholders for missing information.RequirementsWe're looking for a dedicated student currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration. Key qualifications include:Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to tasks, ensuring accuracy and reliability.Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and prioritize effectively.Excel Proficiency: Comfortable with basic functions like filters and pivot tables.Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication in English.Eagerness to Learn: Enthusiastic about gaining practical experience and supporting daily finance operations.No Prior Experience Required: We'll provide comprehensive training and guidance.Nice to have:Familiarity with accounting software/tools such as Netsuite, Payhawk, or Paycove is advantageous.Comfortable working independently and asking questions when needed.Interest in understanding finance operations in a tech or international setting.Side note: we are unable to support in any visa or permit acquisition for this particular position.
