Truck Dispatcher

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Truck Dispatcher to coordinate and manage the daily movement of freight and transportation operations. Duties • Coordinate daily dispatching activities for freight movement, ensuring optimal routing and scheduling using transportation planning tools and GPS technology • Communicate effectively with drivers, carriers, and clients via multi-line phone systems, maintaining professional phone etiquette at all times • Monitor fleet operations through GPS and GIS (Geographic Information Systems) to ensure safety, compliance, and efficiency • Oversee shipping & receiving processes, including freight documentation, load planning, and coordination with warehouse teams • Analyze transportation data to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings within the supply chain • Maintain detailed records of dispatch activities, shipment statuses, and incident reports to support operational transparency and accountability Requirements • Proven experience in dispatching within logistics or transportation management environments • Familiarity with freight operations, shipping & receiving procedures, and fleet management practices • Excellent communication skills with professional phone etiquette and the ability to handle multiple calls efficiently on multi-line phone systems • Strong analysis skills for evaluating routes, freight loads, and operational data to optimize performance • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail • Must have high speed internet/laptop/cell phone • Must have 2-3 years minimum experience Join us as a Truck Dispatcher and be part of a vibrant team dedicated to streamlining logistics processes!
