Job Description: • Project length : ~3–4 weeks • Commitment : ≥ 10 hrs / week • Compensation : $25 – $60 per hour • Hourly rate may be higher for exception candidates • Fixpoint is hiring Farmers, Ranchers, and Other Agricultural Managers for a research project at a leading AI company. • You will use your expertise to explain the challenges and skillsets of your job, explain what excellence looks like in your profession, and design questions related to your occupation as a Farmers, Ranchers, and Other Agricultural Managers.• You’re a good fit if you’ve managed agricultural operations: • in a farm • in a ranch • in a greenhouse • in a vineyard • or have similar experience. Requirements: • Have 5+ years full-time work experience in Agriculture, Forestry, Fishing and Hunting. • Native-level English skills • U.S. residency • Access to a laptop or desktop computer and reliable internet. • Availability for at least 10 hours per week during the 3- to 4-week engagement (work is fully asynchronous and on your own schedule). • Experience with farm management software • Knowledge of sustainable farming practicesBenefits: • Hourly pay: $25 – $60, commensurate with experience and project fit.• Hourly rate may be higher for exception candidates • Paid weekly via Fixpoint, based on approved hours. • You will be classified as 1099 independent-contractor status; engagement is at-will. • Entirely remote; work whenever you like as long as deadlines are met.
