Family Office Accountant REMOTE Bay Area travel occasional
Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their family office. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $90,000 to $110,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities:
⢠Manage accounting operations across multiple entities, including trusts, LLCs, and partnerships
⢠Oversee bill payment processes using platforms such as Bill.com, Brex, and Expensify
⢠Lead data integration and reporting efforts across various ERP systems
⢠Provide mentorship and guidance to junior accounting staff to support their development
⢠Conduct research on complex accounting issues and present findings to leadership
Requirements:
⢠An active CPA license and a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
⢠At least 7+ years of combined experience in public accounting and corporate finance roles
⢠A minimum of 3+ years working in environments serving ultra-high-net-worth individuals or family offices
⢠Hands-on experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Intacct, or NetSuite
⢠Familiarity with insurance renewals, financial reporting, and multi-entity accounting structures
Qualifications:
⢠A strong foundation in U.S. GAAP and technical accounting principles
⢠Proven ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
⢠Skilled in presenting financial insights to both executive and technical audiences
⢠Demonstrated leadership experience with increasing responsibility over time
⢠Excellent communication skills and a sharp eye for detail in financial documentation
