Facility Maintenance Technician
Skillforce is seeking skilled Facility Maintenance Technician for work in the Huntington, WV area. Per diem is available for anyone traveling in for the job.
This position is well-suited for someone who takes pride in ensuring facilities and equipment operate efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in general maintenance, repair work, and troubleshooting across various trades
Facility Maintenance Technician Key Responsibilities:
ā¢ Troubleshoot and maintain conveyors, injection mold machine and other industrial machinery.
ā¢ Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and more.
ā¢ Respond promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
ā¢ Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly facility.
ā¢ Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety standards and company policies.
ā¢ Coordinate with external contractors for major repairs, upgrades, or specialized services.
Facility Maintenance Technician Qualifications:
ā¢ 2+ years of experience in facility or building maintenance.
ā¢ Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and general repairs.
ā¢ Ability to use hand and power tools.
ā¢ Good communication and problem-solving skills.
ā¢ Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work on ladders or in confined spaces as needed.
Location: Huntington, WV
Pay:
ā¢ Up to $40 per hour
ā¢ $100/day per diem paid on all 7 days (if traveling in)
Shift: Multiple shifts available,
