About the position

The Facilities Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the maintenance of CSX Transportation facilities within the assigned territory, ensuring projects are completed safely and on time while adhering to budget constraints. This role involves supervising contract employees and outside contractors, providing technical assistance, and implementing cost reduction strategies across various operational aspects. The supervisor will also manage a significant portfolio of building, electrical, and mechanical assets, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and effective asset management.

Responsibilities
? Supervise and manage the inspection, installation, and maintenance of over $500M in building assets.

? Supervise and manage the inspection, installation, and maintenance of over $500M in electrical assets.
,
? Supervise and manage the inspection, installation, and maintenance of over $500M in mechanical assets.
,
? Assist in the preparation and execution of both Capital and Operating Budgets.
,
? Interface with multiple departments regarding compliance, emergency plans, and maintenance.
,
? Ensure compliance with all railroad rules and regulations for safety and operations.
,
? Assist in the design of repairs to all assets within the area of responsibility.
,
? Interpret and follow regulatory codes, manuals, and blueprints.
,
? Administer the Maximo system for Enterprise Asset Management and manage facility expenditures.
,
? Responsible for the maintenance and safe operation of all facilities vehicles and equipment.

Requirements
? Associates Degree or 2-year Degree in a relevant field.
,
? 3 or more years of experience in construction, maintenance, electrical or mechanical engineering, or facilities maintenance.
,
? High School Diploma/GED with 5 or more years of relevant experience.

Nice-to-haves
? Bachelor's Degree or 4-year Degree in a relevant field.

? 7 or more years of supervisory experience in construction or facilities maintenance.
