Overall Description of Position The Security Coordinator will support Copeland Latin America with the execution and coordination of key facilities and operations-related projects across Mexico. Knowledge of Health & Safety (HS) practices and compliance is required, ensuring that all projects are executed in a safe and risk-controlled environment. This role will work closely with internal stakeholders, real estate teams, procurement, and external suppliers to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to company standards. The ideal candidate will have an engineering background, solid knowledge of methodologies, and practical experience in civil construction and facilities coordination. The Security Coordinator will be responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring projects, managing vendor relationships, aligning with business needs, and reporting progress to senior leadership. This position plays a critical role in ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective project delivery while maintaining business continuity. Requirements: Industrial Engineering degree or related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in security, coordination, and facilities management. Strong knowledge of Health & Safety practices and compliance. Practical experience in civil construction and facilities coordination. Excellent project management, communication, and vendor management skills. Major Duties/Responsibilities Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Knowledge of Health & Safety (HS) practices and compliance is required, ensuring that all projects are executed in a safe and risk-controlled environment Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and ensure consistent execution. Engage and manage external vendors and contractors for construction, moving services. Oversee civil construction activities related to office modifications or new site preparation. Ensure compliance with local regulations, company policies, and safety standards. Collaborate with Finance, HR, IT, and Operations teams to manage project dependencies and minimize disruptions. Identify and resolve project risks, issues, and changes in scope. Regularly report project status, milestones, and budget performance to leadership. Support procurement processes and vendor evaluations for relevant projects. Drive standardization and continuous improvement in project execution across countries. Support other corporate initiatives or capital projects as assigned. Onsite Work Arrangement: This role is based fully onsite, and not eligible for hybrid or remote work opportunities.
