Key Responsibilities
Provide expert online tutoring services to students preparing for the SAT and other standardized tests
Develop and implement customized lesson plans to meet the unique needs and goals of each student
Conduct online tutoring sessions using a computer, stylus pen, and headphones, ensuring a professional and quiet environment
Assess student progress, identify areas for improvement, and adjust instruction accordingly
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and Academic Counselors to ensure a collaborative and supportive learning environment
Maintain accurate records of student progress and session details
Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and changes in SAT and test prep curriculum
Essential Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from a prestigious university
3+ years of professional tutoring or teaching experience, with at least 1 year of online experience
Proven ability to tutor all sections of the SAT, with a strong subject matter expertise in test prep
Test prep related references on resume
Fast, reliable internet connection and necessary equipment (computer/laptop, stylus pen, and headphones)
Professional, quiet environment conducive to conducting online tutoring sessions
U.S.-based bank account and SSN
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
At least 10 hours of weekly availability, primarily M-Th in the afternoons and evenings
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree or certification in a relevant field (e.g., education, test prep)
Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds and with varying learning needs
