Our client, a leader in the energy sector, is seeking a Lead UX Designer to join their team. As a Lead UX Designer, you will be part of the Upstream division supporting a dynamic team of UX designers and researchers. The ideal candidate will have strong teamwork, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Lead UX Designer Location: Spring, TX 100% onsite Pay Range: Competitive market rate and depends upon experience Duration: starts at 12 month contract What's the Job? Lead a small team (2-3) of UX designers and researchers, managing work intake and communicating timelines. Design innovative solutions that enhance user productivity and simplify complex tasks. Incorporate research findings into design processes and communicate designs through sketches and prototypes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive and user-centric solutions. Educate and advocate for proper design principles and processes within the organization. What's Needed? Proven experience leading UX design projects from concept to completion. Ability to mentor and develop junior designers in a collaborative environment. Experience working closely with diverse cross-functional teams. Demonstrated initiative, flexibility, and eagerness to learn. Strong portfolio showcasing your design process and problem-solving skills.
