Legal Support - Contractors

Meltplan is looking for Lawyers on a contractual basis. The selected personnel shall be responsible to complete tasks related to US Building Codes on a strict deadline. The Candidates are required to be punctual with a keen eye for detail. The responsibilities shall include but not limited to - - Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks within strict deadlines, maintaining a high standard of accuracy and consistency. - Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including Engineers, Lawyers and software developers. - Maintain clear documentation of findings and work processes for internal knowledge sharing purposes. - Demonstrate professional accountability, punctuality, and a meticulous approach to detail in all deliverables. - Proactively flag inconsistencies or ambiguities in codes and escalate them appropriately. About the Organisation: MeltPlan is a stealth startup with an audacious goal of minimizing waste for the build environment. Our founder, Kanav Hasija, had co-founded Innovaccer and made it a unicorn (> $1 Bn valuation) in 6 years and centaur (>$100 Mn revenue) in 7 years. Position: Legal Support (on contract basis). Salary: Around 1 Lakh per month. Location: Completely remote role. Eligibility: - Hold a law degree (LL.B.) from a recognized institution and are licensed to practice law. - Have at least 2 years of experience in due diligence and reviewing legal documents, preferably with a focus on US Laws or Construction Law. - Demonstrated excellence in meeting deadlines, coordinating with the team and communication.
