Key Responsibilities Drive Strategic Initiatives: Work on the needs of YouTube's leadership and determine how best to solve the company's biggest opportunities and most challenging issues. Develop and Execute Strategy Workstreams: Structure, launch, and drive strategy workstreams, including developing hypotheses, designing work plans, conducting analysis (including financial models), analyzing market/competitive trends, assessing business drivers, and working metrics. Communicate Insights and Findings: Design presentations and communicate findings to YouTube's leadership and the broader organization. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work with cross-functional teams to align on recommendations, financial and headcount investments, launch plans, and enable a shift to long-term owners. Culture Ambassador: Be a culture-ambassador for the group, promoting a collaborative and innovative work environment. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's Degree: A four-year certification in a relevant field such as finance, economics, business administration, or a related field. Professional Experience: At least 3 years of experience in professional services (consulting, investment banking) or a corporate strategy role. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated critical thinking and analysis skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop strategic insights. Preferred Qualifications Experience in Consumer Web and Media Industries: Experience working in the consumer web and media industries, with a deep understanding of the YouTube ecosystem. SQL and Data Analysis: Experience with SQL and data analysis, with the ability to extract insights from complex data sets. Exceptional Business Judgment: Uncommon business judgment and brilliant financial modeling, spreadsheet programming, and presentation skills. Communication and Influencing Skills: Experience communicating and influencing a range of audiences, including C-level leaders.
