Key Responsibilities
Indicate your availability to tutor, without minimum or maximum requirements, and commit to a consistent schedule to support a series of tutoring sessions with the same student(s)
Complete curriculum reviews for lesson materials to ensure you are familiar with the content and can provide high-quality support to your students
Tutor students virtually in a 1:1 to 1:3 setting, using online virtual tools and technology to deliver engaging and effective lessons
Build relationships with students located across the United States, providing personalized support and guidance to help them achieve their academic goals
Review provided lesson content materials and impact a student's learning experience by providing feedback, guidance, and encouragement
Essential Qualifications
Relevant experience working with school-age learners in some capacity, such as teaching, tutoring, or mentoring
Relatively consistent ongoing calendar availability to support a session series from week to week at the same time with the same student(s)
Ability to effectively instruct and engage students with clear communication and interpersonal skills
A high comfort level with online virtual tools and technology, including desktop or laptop, video camera, and reliable internet connection
Residence in the continental United States, Alaska, or Hawaii
