Key Responsibilities: Bringing the Fun to Life Host and moderate virtual events, including escape rooms, murder mysteries, and trivia nights, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for participants. Provide puzzles, hints, and guidance to players as needed, while maintaining the game's pace and excitement. Utilize Zoom and other platforms to facilitate communication and collaboration among participants. Manage game state, track progress, and keep scores up-to-date using our proprietary tools and spreadsheets. Create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere, encouraging participant engagement and teamwork. Troubleshoot technical issues and adapt to any unexpected challenges that may arise during the event. Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that participants have a memorable and enjoyable experience. Essential Qualifications: What We're Looking For A friendly, outgoing personality and a passion for games and entertainment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate participants. A reliable and quiet workspace with a fast internet connection (minimum 4-8GB of memory). Availability to work flexible hours, including Mondays to Fridays, with a focus on December availability leading up to the holidays. Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team. Technical proficiency with Zoom and other online platforms. Preferred Qualifications: Standing Out from the Crowd Previous experience in hosting, moderating, or facilitating online events or games. Familiarity with virtual event platforms and tools. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet. Experience with spreadsheet management and data tracking.
