Job Overview In this critical role, you will be responsible for managing and assisting with our short-term rental operations, including platform management, guest communications, housekeeping coordination, and arranging amenities. Your exceptional customer service skills will be utilized to address guest issues, resolve problems in a timely and efficient manner, process reservations, and provide accurate information about our properties and the neighborhoods our guests are visiting. This position requires a high level of independence, strong decision-making skills, and the ability to work with multiple technology platforms in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Guest and reservation management: Respond to guest inquiries, manage reservations, and ensure seamless check-in and check-out processes. Virtual property management: Coordinate with housekeeping staff, schedule cleanings, and arrange amenities to ensure our properties meet the highest standards of quality and cleanliness. Cleaner management, scheduling, and coordination: Develop and maintain relationships with our cleaning partners, schedule cleanings, and ensure that all properties are cleaned and prepared to our high standards. Address guest issues and resolve problems in a timely and efficient manner, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring guest satisfaction. Process reservations, manage guest communications, and provide accurate information about our properties and neighborhoods. Success Metrics and Performance Expectations To be successful in this role, you will be expected to maintain a quick response rate to all inquiries, resolve guest issues with a high sense of urgency (less than 3 hours or ASAP), and contribute to a review rating of 4.8 or higher. Your performance will be evaluated based on your ability to meet these metrics, as well as your overall customer service skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Required Skills and Qualifications 2+ years of customer service experience, with a focus on vacation rental or hotel customer service. Availability to work during normal U.S. business hours, with flexibility to respond to guest inquiries and issues as needed. Strong verbal, written, and reading skills in the English language, with excellent typing speed and accuracy. Extreme attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills and Qualifications Experience with Airbnb customer service, with a strong understanding of the platform and its features. Ability to work with multiple technology platforms, including property management software, communication tools, and other systems. Creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to think independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment. Conflict resolution experience, with the ability to de-escalate issues and provide exceptional customer service in challenging situations.
