About the Role The World Service Center at blithequark is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Travel Insurance Customer Care Professional to join our team. As a key member of our customer care team, you will utilize a consultative sales approach to understand the traveler's needs and recommend appropriate travel insurance products. You will educate customers on the benefits and coverages of our products, providing exceptional customer service and support. Key Responsibilities Handle incoming calls from travelers and travel advisors, providing insurance quotes and policy sales to customers. Utilize a consultative sales approach to understand customer needs and recommend suitable travel insurance products. Educate customers on the benefits and coverages of blithequark's travel insurance products. Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. Meet state licensing requirements to sell insurance products. Maintain a high level of product knowledge, staying up-to-date on industry trends and developments. Essential Qualifications A record of providing outstanding customer service (1+ years preferred). Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to think outside the box and respond to customer needs in a creative and effective manner. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Ability to meet state licensing requirements to sell insurance. Preferred Qualifications Proven experience in sales, preferably in the insurance or travel industry. Experience in domestic or international travel, with geography knowledge highly beneficial. Ability to respond to high-end clientele with professionalism and poise.
