Job Summary As a Title Specialist / Title Examiner / Title Researcher, you will be responsible for supporting real estate transactions by providing a high level of customer service and proactive communication to both internal and external customers related to title services. You will work closely with customers, attorneys, and lenders to resolve issues impacting title insurability prior to closing for commercial transactions. Your expertise and strong communication skills will enable you to navigate complex title issues, ensuring smooth transactions and exceptional customer experiences. Key Responsibilities Work with customers, attorneys, and lenders in an advisory capacity to resolve issues impacting title insurability prior to closing for commercial transactions. Communicate with clients and third parties to obtain documentation to clear title-related issues, such as missing information, incomplete, inaccurate, or contradictory information contained in the title commitment, in accordance with internal and external policies and regulations. Follow standard procedures and guidelines to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies. Understand how assigned duties relate to others within the team and how the team integrates with related teams to ensure seamless collaboration. Impact your own team through the quality of the support provided, recognizing and solving typical problems, and selecting solutions from established options. Communicate moderately complex information in routine situations, typically within your own team, and work under general supervision with limited ability to modify your approach. Manage your own workload as an individual contributor with no supervisory responsibilities. Perform all other duties as assigned by management. Essential Qualifications Education High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred. Experience Typically requires 2+ years of related work experience in title services, real estate, or a related field. Skills and Competencies Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, attorneys, lenders, and internal stakeholders. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to navigate complex title issues. Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency in title software and technology, including ability to learn new systems and tools. Strong customer service skills, with ability to provide exceptional experiences and build long-term relationships. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as real estate, business, or law. Experience working in a title company or similar industry. Certifications, such as Certified Title Examiner (CTE) or Certified Abstractor (CA).
