About the Role of Test Publisher The Test Publisher plays a vital role in supporting the creation of exams in PSI's computer-based testing platforms for licensure and certification programs. This role involves collaboration with various teams, including Test Developers, Client Services Specialists, Project Managers, and Account Managers, to maintain and update exam item banks and item pools. The Test Publisher will also work closely with the Software Development and Quality Assurance teams to ensure thorough testing of exams prior to launch. Key Responsibilities Building licensure, certification, and assessment exams on PSI's various computer-based testing platforms for initial publication following an exam release schedule. Assisting in updating item contents of live exams, creating and maintaining item banks, and republishing licensure, certification, and assessment tests in multiple testing platforms. Ensuring that exams are published in accordance with specifications on time and without error. Assisting the leaders of Test Publishing in implementing procedures for reviewing, structuring, and publishing both written and practical exams. Interfacing with Test Developers, Account Managers, and IT teams to ensure timely and accurate publication, QA testing, or implementation of new exams or updates to existing exams. Assisting in troubleshooting content-related issues to published exams addressed by the client, candidates, proctors, or Client Services Specialists. Executing established Test Publishing processes and procedures, identifying potential publication issues and errors, and suggesting possible solutions to problems or refinement of procedures or protocols. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: Education to high school diploma level. 2+ years of experience in a data entry, administrative, or editing role. Experience in handling multiple projects. Ability to accurately type a minimum of 60 words per minute. Strong proofreading skills. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following skills and experience are desirable: Experience in using JIRA for tracking projects. Skill in using data entry tools and spreadsheets. Experience in SQL Server Management Studio. Some experience in editing graphics. Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to demonstrate: Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and experience with data entry tools and spreadsheets. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with various teams and stakeholders. Attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to changing priorities and deadlines. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently and effectively.
