About the Role As a Technical Program Manager, Utility Infrastructure Strategy and Planning, you will be at the forefront of developing and implementing utility infrastructure solutions for Workwarp's data center fleet. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, commercial, and external partners, to ensure seamless execution of utility infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage commercial and technical agreements with utility providers, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance with regulatory requirements. Analyze and model operational utility data to inform strategic decisions, optimize utility consumption, and identify areas for improvement. Design, develop, and manage infrastructure planning tools, including data dashboards and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), to track progress and drive business outcomes. Serve as a subject-matter expert in utility infrastructure, providing technical and commercial guidance throughout the due-diligence process and ensuring the quality of agreements and projects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement utility optimization projects, driving cost savings and reducing environmental impact. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. At least 5 years of experience in program management, with a focus on utility infrastructure projects. Proven experience in planning power transmission and substation infrastructure projects, including managing relationships with utility service providers. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to distill complex technical information into actionable insights. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge: A Master's degree in Engineering or a related field. Certification as an Engineer in Training (EIT) or a licensed Professional Engineer, with applicable sustainable infrastructure certification. Experience with techno-economic analysis and financial modeling for electric transmission or substation infrastructure projects. Familiarity with planning, discussing agreements, developing, and commissioning large-scale electric transmission or substation infrastructure projects. Experience working in a cross-functional role at the interface of engineering and commercial teams. A deep understanding of the intersection of utility power consumption and related infrastructure capacity solutions, with the ability to develop data-driven technical insights and translate them into executable commercial solutions.
