Position Overview We are urgently seeking a skilled technical leader who is results-oriented and passionate about solving complex problems using cutting-edge technology. As a practitioner of test-driven development, a champion of CI/CD, and a creative thinker, you will be responsible for designing, building, and implementing scalable and reliable solutions to enable Walmart Associates to provide compliant and effective management of prescription-based retail operations. Key Responsibilities Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable and reliable solutions to enable Walmart Associates to provide compliant and effective management of prescription-based retail operations Streamline processes that enable Walmart Associates to provide effective, efficient, and enhanced medical services/immunizations to Walmart customers Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, and develop solutions that meet business needs Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture, design documents, and technical guides Participate in pair programming, code reviews, and contribute to the improvement of the overall quality of the codebase Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and new tools, and apply this knowledge to improve existing systems and processes Essential Qualifications Experience in technical leadership across all components of SDLC Experience in pair programming and test-driven development In-depth working knowledge of technologies such as Java or/and .NET, Rest API, Event-driven design, Messaging Technologies (Kafka), Containerization, Kubernetes, NoSQL and Relational Databases In-depth working knowledge of Cloud computing and designing and implementing solutions deployed to Azure or/and Google Cloud Platforms Proven experience in cross-functional collaboration and problem-solving across geographies Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a retail or healthcare environment Knowledge of agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines Strong understanding of security principles and practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a combination of technical, business, and interpersonal skills, including: Strong technical skills, with the ability to design, develop, and implement scalable and reliable solutions Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, with a focus on delivering high-quality results Strong attention to detail, with a focus on quality and accuracy Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Walmart Global Tech, we are committed to helping our team members grow and develop their careers.
