Key Responsibilities Support enrollment, student development, and retention services to ensure a high-quality learning experience for all students. Manage a caseload of assigned students and coach each through their degree program, utilizing proactive and timely outreach strategies. Encourage and support students through daily and weekly outreach as they work to develop skills and knowledge for academic success. Provide a trusted and supportive environment where students can share their thoughts, aspirations, concerns, and interests without hesitation. Offer and teach students how to effectively utilize resources to maximize their success, including academic support tools and career development resources. Become a certified resume reviewer to provide expert resume and career development support, empowering students to achieve their career goals. Act as a liaison for students, facilitating connections with various departments within blithequark to ensure seamless support and guidance. Essential and Preferred Qualifications To be considered for the Student Success Coach role at blithequark, you must possess a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher learning. Additionally, we require at least two years of experience in academic/admissions support, customer service, human resources, and/or counseling. Knowledge of academic policies and procedures, as well as the ability to quickly learn technical skills, is also essential. Excellent communication and listening skills, including a pleasant phone manner, are critical for success in this position. A strong customer support focus and attention to detail are also required. Skills and Competencies Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
