Solid understanding of circuit design theory and extensive hands-on experience with custom circuit design. Proficiency with Cadence Virtuoso for schematic capture, circuit simulation, and custom layout, as well as physical verification using Assura or Calibre. Experience with microwave engineering, including understanding of s-parameters and impedance matching techniques. Proficient use of ADS for linear and nonlinear circuit characterization. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to tackle complex design challenges. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively disseminate information to leadership and working groups. Ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance. US Citizenship is required for this position. Preferred Qualifications: Proven track record as a design chip lead with successful tapeouts, and the ability to design sub-blocks and perform chip-level integration. 10+ years of circuit design experience across various technology nodes, with experience designing with SiGe HBTs being a plus. Design experience with passive and active RF circuits up to 10GHz, and implementation of low noise techniques for critical blocks. Background in 2D and 3D Electromagnetic modeling using commercial tools such as Analyst, Axiem, Clarity, CST, HFSS, Momentum, and Sonnet. Experience with scripting languages such as SKILL or Python. Active TS/SCI Security Clearance. Career Growth and Learning Benefits: At Northrop Grumman, we're committed to the growth and development of our employees.
