Experienced Senior Software Engineer – Cloud-Based Application Development and API Design for Aetna's Innovative Customer Outreach Platform

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and developing specialized plans for our customer outreach platform, which delivers over $120MM to customers annually. Our platform, CPL, is a custom-tailored, local stage that combines traditional programming with AI and predictive insights, united through modern designs that drive versatility, extensibility, and execution. We are currently relocating to the cloud and are looking for a chief-level programming architect to help take us to the next generation of design and solutions.
Job Responsibilities
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for planning and creating specialized arrangements that meet business requirements and gradually move our Venture Personality Administration stage to the future state. Your key responsibilities will include:
Designing and developing APIs and complex functionality within the Venture Personality Services stage
Participating in peer reviews of technical plans and code
Assisting in defining standards/policies/guidelines and ensuring consistency while adapting solutions to the Enterprise Personality Services stage architecture
Collaborating with a team of nearly 50 to drive our foundation forward
Leading the way for a group of engineers to take our platform to the next level
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
3+ years of recent active development experience
2+ years of experience working with agile DevSecOps model
2+ years of experience with API development
2+ years of experience with CI/CD pipeline experience and related tools like Jenkins, GIT, and Docker
2+ years of experience working with Infrastructure as a Service, Platform as a Service, and Software as a Service
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
Hands-on experience building cloud-native applications on GCP
Knowledge of Master Data Management concepts and application
Experience in the healthcare industry
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
