Job Overview The Senior Data Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the Subscriber Tasks capability within the Data Analysis group. This team is responsible for the valuation of subscriber adjustments across the arenaflex Streaming portfolio, including arenaflex+, Hulu, ESPN+, and Star+. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will work closely with our upstream reporting partners to ensure accurate delivery of subscription change messaging, including price increases, subscriber arrangements, and new data being collected. Your expertise will be essential in identifying subscribers impacted by episodes requiring timely and lawful remediations. Key Responsibilities Manage data entry and document data requirements related to subscriber messaging drives (including price increases, subscriber arrangements, and new data being collected) and episode remediation (ensuring that the right clients receive refunds when required) Develop queries based on required business logic, sometimes legally committing, to determine precise companions of subscribers for messaging as well as remediation Communicate business requirements to technical teams and provide concise summaries of technical progress or potential detours to business partners Develop strong knowledge of subscriber adjustments and the technical system that underlies subscriber data Manage project planning and schedules and facilitate cross-functional delivery to ensure readiness for significant business events Drive alignment across Data, Business Operations, and Finance through the development of strong communication processes and operational playbooks In collaboration with Data Product and Data Quality Engineering, contribute to the design of robust reporting solutions that minimize data incidents Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: 2+ years of work experience developing in SQL, particularly in an ETL processing pipeline 2+ years of analytical experience Proven ability to convey technical or analytical concepts to a wide range of audiences Knowledge of Python/R or other statistical programming languages Knowledge of data analysis and data visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, Chartio, etc. Strong interpersonal skills, as well as written and verbal presentation skills Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following skills and qualifications are desirable: Understanding of statistical concepts (e.g., hypothesis testing, regression analysis) Postgraduate degree Knowledge of Airflow Career Growth and Development At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
