Job Overview and Responsibilities As a Senior Data Analyst on the Field Operations Steering team, you will play a critical role in analyzing large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights in supply chain performance. Your expertise will be leveraged to contribute to supply chain problem-solving, with a focus on expense and efficiency. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across the Global Supply Chain and Logistics (GSCL) organization to drive data-driven decisions and influence change. Key responsibilities include: Contribute to Supply Chain problem-solving with a focus on expense and efficiency Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the GSCL to drive data-driven decisions and influence change Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights in supply chain performance Mentor and develop less experienced analysts on the team Develop impactful visualizations and insights and communicate them to business partners in a clear, compelling manner Build expertise in Data capabilities and integrate with business partners and other data teams to accelerate the product development lifecycle Essential and Preferred Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree with 2-5 years of experience in supply chain management, data analytics, or a related field Experience gathering and analyzing datasets with various coding languages (Python, SQL, R), with an interest in further developing these skills Experience with Target's database and reporting platforms, such as Greenfield or BigRed Ability to work under ambiguous direction with comfortability self-directing, self-motivating, and figuring out the optimal path forward Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build strong relationships with stakeholders Preferred qualifications include experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI, and knowledge of machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling techniques.
