Job Overview As a Senior Business Analyst at blithequark, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing data-driven solutions that drive business growth and improvement. You will be responsible for designing and advancing automated data pipelines, modern statistical modeling, and intuitive data visualization. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining front-end code using Python, SQL, HTML, Java, and R, or other comparable coding languages. While proficiency in these languages is not required, the ability to quickly learn and gain proficiency is essential for success in this role. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement data management cycles, including accessing raw data feeds, building queries and macros, writing VBA code, integrating data, and preparing reports that provide current status and representation for business performance. Retrieve and analyze large datasets using Excel, SQL, and other data management systems. Design and implement reporting solutions to enable stakeholders to manage the business and make informed decisions. Take ownership of processes to ensure that each report is accurate and timely, with a high level of customer focus in resolving data errors. Assemble and manage related key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure, control, and benchmark reporting processes. Monitor existing metrics, build new metrics, and collaborate with internal teams to identify process and system improvement opportunities. Support cross-functional teams on the daily execution of existing program performance. Create complex queries to dive deep into process issues and enhance to improve customer experience. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: 5+ years of experience in a related field, such as finance, operations, or analytics. 5+ years of experience writing SQL queries and creating business intelligence reports using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools. Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as supply chain management, operations, engineering, or analytics. Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to drive business insights. Experience with Excel and SQL. Experience creating business proposals and influencing stakeholders. Experience with QuickSight dashboard and visual creation. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following preferred qualifications will be highly regarded: 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Data Scientist, Consultant, or a related occupation.
