**Experienced RISE Program Coordinator – Academic Support and Student Success Specialist**

As a RISE Program Coordinator, you will be part of a team that is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of our students and their families. **Job Summary** The RISE Program Coordinator is a full-time position responsible for managing the development, implementation, and evaluation of systems and programs that support RISE students with their academic success, school engagement, and postsecondary planning. This role requires a strong background in academic support, student success, and program coordination, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. **Key Responsibilities** * Oversee academic counseling sessions for youth that qualify for the RISE program, including completion of an individual success plan, homework help, and identification of steps needed to support college/career readiness * Establish and sustain positive working relationships and regular, proactive communication with program partners, including school staff and administration, to provide additional support to the RISE program * Coordinate schedules and supervise RISE Coordinators/Advisors and AmeriCorps staff assigned to serve the RISE program * Ensure fidelity and timeliness of data tracking and outcome measurements using the school district information system, as well as the Salesforce system (training provided) * Engage families of RISE students in order to communicate college/career goals and academic progress * Assist with required grant reporting * Support students in out-of-school-time activities through the registration and scholarship process for sports, driver's education, summer programs and camps, and job applications **Essential Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree, ideally in the field of counseling, social work, youth development, or a related area * Ability to supervise staff, volunteer tutors, and AmeriCorps staff * Ability to engage and communicate effectively with RISE students and their families * Ability to work collaboratively with RISE team members, school district staff, and other groups and organizations * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Ability to understand and work with different cultures and backgrounds * Ability to collect and analyze data to inform programming * Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously * Ability to work select evening hours and to travel within Rice County **Preferred Qualifications** * Master's degree * Bilingual in English and Spanish or Somali * Familiarity with Faribault and Rice County organizations and resources * Familiarity with higher education resources and opportunities * Experience in grant writing and grant reporting **Skills and Competencies** * Strong program coordination and management skills * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Ability to collect and analyze data to inform programming * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** As a RISE Program Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to grow your career and develop your skills in program coordination, academic support, and student success.
