Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our team as a Retail Operations Manager and Coach Trainee. As a Coach/Ops Mgr Trainee, you will be responsible for leading and developing high-performing teams, driving financial performance and sales growth, and ensuring exceptional customer service standards. You will work closely with store associates, providing guidance, training, and feedback to ensure that our customers receive the best possible shopping experience. Key Responsibilities Lead and develop teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates, touring stores, and providing feedback. Communicate and collaborate with all levels of associates regarding store operations, technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. Introduce and lead company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions. Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards, following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model. Manage and support customer service initiatives, ensuring customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved. Drive financial performance and sales growth by reviewing and evaluating P&L statements, managing expenses, and developing action plans to mitigate shrink and achieve sales and profit goals. Provide supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates, including hiring, training, mentoring, and recognizing associates. Coordinate, complete, and oversee job-related activities and assignments, developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: 2 years of college or 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience, or 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience. Ability to lead and develop high-performing teams, drive financial performance and sales growth, and ensure exceptional customer service standards. Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of associates and stakeholders. Ability to model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards, following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset: Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University. Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University. General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including responsibility for performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
