Job Description We're seeking an experienced and driven Senior Cloud Bookkeeper to join our talented team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for day-to-day bookkeeping and finance tasks for our clients. This part-time position (20-30 hours per week) offers the perfect balance between work and personal life, allowing you to pursue your passions and interests outside of work. Responsibilities As a Senior Cloud Bookkeeper, your primary responsibilities will include: Handling day-to-day operations for our clients, including transaction entry, invoicing, bill payments, payroll preparation, journal entries, reconciliations, and more. Working closely with senior staff to ensure seamless execution of client tasks and projects. Interacting with clients from time to time to answer specific questions or politely seek certain information. Utilizing our practice management system, Karbon, to organize and manage work across multiple clients. Collaborating with team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks and projects. Requirements To succeed in this role, you'll need: A college degree in accounting or a related field. At least 2 years of experience in cloud accounting technologies, including proficiency in QBO, Bill.com, Gusto, or other payroll software. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members. Strong attention to detail, with a keen eye for accuracy and integrity in your work. A positive attitude and joy in all communications, both internally and externally. Persistence and the ability to politely remind others to stay on track. Humility and a willingness to learn and grow, with a desire to improve and take on new challenges. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications would be a plus: Experience working in a multi-client environment, with a strong understanding of bookkeeping and payroll principles. Proficiency in other cloud accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Xero. Experience with practice management systems, such as Karbon or QuickBooks Enterprise. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box.
