Job Overview The Merchandiser Flex NU is a critical role that requires a unique blend of skills, including product presentation, customer service, and communication. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for presenting products in a way that attracts the attention of consumers at our customer retail locations. This involves servicing and maintaining multiple bulk accounts, merchandising approved products and packages, and using safe handling techniques to ensure quality and consistency. You will also be expected to follow plan sets, planograms, and communicate effectively with store management and cross-functional personnel. Key Responsibilities Fills, merchandises, and rotates products on display and the shelf according to procedures and special programs Physically moves the product from the backroom and places it on display, ensuring that all products are faced and fronted Creates and distributes point of sale materials on display and shelf where permitted, and rotates product to ensure freshness and visibility Fills and merchandises Fastlane merchandisers and vendors, checks vendor to ensure proper operation, and reports any issues to management Organizes and maintains back room by stacking and arranging product by package and flavor, arranging the return of empty pallets and shells, damaged and out of date product to the branch Fosters business relationships with store personnel through routine follow-up on requests, proactive pricing, special programs, new opportunities, and upcoming activities discussions Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a combination of skills, including: Effective communication skills, including listening, speaking, and writing Prior customer service experience preferred in a retail setting Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively to satisfy the needs of a variety of customers with different demands and expectations Willingness to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment (lifting 50 lbs. repetitively) Able to work reliably and independently with little daily supervision Critical thinking skills and the ability to problem-solve Valid in-state driver’s license and excellent driving history Proof of insurance policy to verify current coverage of liability and property damage Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: Excellent driving history Prior experience in a merchandising or retail role Knowledge of planograms and visual merchandising principles Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess a range of skills and competencies, including: Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Problem-solving and critical thinking skills Physical ability to lift, carry, and move products Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Basic math skills and attention to detail Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Workwarp, we are committed to helping our teammates grow and develop their careers.
