Job Summary We're looking for a talented Retail Customer Service Associate to join our team at Blithequark. As a key member of our customer service team, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, providing expert solutions, and driving sales growth. You'll work closely with our customers to understand their needs, provide personalized solutions, and ensure their complete satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service, utilizing consultative skills to anticipate customer needs, suggest alternatives, and provide solutions Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products and services, including print, signs & graphics, and shipping Take complex customer orders using our order systems and provide accurate pricing information Assemble parcels and prepare goods for shipping by wrapping items in insulation, inserting items into shipping containers, weighing packages, and affixing labels to parcels Set up and operate printing, binding, and other related equipment using customer-supplied original media and documents Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly retail store environment Process financial transactions using a Point of Sale terminal (POS), including handling cash and making change Clean, repair, and stock all retail store printing and shipping equipment and supplies to provide optimal performance and availability Stay current on retail store merchandising materials and ensure proper display of all retail area product and signage Essential Qualifications and Requirements Education High school diploma or equivalent education required Experience 6+ months of specialized experience in customer service, retail, or a related field Skills and Competencies Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to stand during entire shift, excluding meal and rest periods Ability to move and lift 55 pounds Ability to bend/twist at the waist and knees on a consistent basis Ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and other team members Ability to perform work activities requiring cooperation and instruction Ability to function in a fast-paced environment, under substantial pressure Ability to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time Ability to work with minimal supervision Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment Knowledge of printing, signs & graphics, and shipping operations Experience with Point of Sale terminals (POS) and financial transactions Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Blithequark, we're committed to the growth and development of our team members.
