Key Responsibilities As a Remote Inbound Travel Representative, Sales, and Customer Service Specialist at blithequark, you'll be responsible for: Taking inbound calls from existing owners who are excited to plan their dream vacations Booking car rentals, airfare, hotel reservations, cruises, and recommending things to see and experience in the area based on our owners' interests Providing exceptional customer service, building rapport with customers, and offering additional services to meet their travel needs Working with travel software programs and systems, such as Apollo, Sabre, or Worldspan Meeting sales targets and achieving monthly incentives Working effectively in a fast-paced environment, multitasking, and managing pressure Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need: A High School Diploma or GED At least six months of customer service and sales experience Intermediate level proficiency with travel software programs and systems Excellent communication and interpersonal skills The ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously A quiet, distraction-free workspace with high-speed internet and a reliable computer Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: Six months of travel experience Advanced knowledge of travel software programs and systems Previous experience working in a remote or virtual environment A strong understanding of the travel industry and current trends Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and competencies: Excellent customer service and sales skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills The ability to work effectively in a team environment Intermediate computer proficiency and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues Strong problem-solving and analytical skills The ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we're committed to the growth and development of our employees.
