Key Responsibilities
ESS Client Facing Tools Implementation: Introduce ESS client-facing tools (Off-Rack and Reconciliations) for new clients and lead capability shows to improve the competitive edge of utilizing all DHL solutions for our clients.
Client Training and Support: Provide clients - both internal and external - with training through roadshows and client nights on ESS products, ensuring smooth shipment handling for 100% accurate manifest data.
ESS Product Customization: Assess client needs, provide solutions, and modify ESS products to address client issues without compromising DHL's standards, while also offering value-added services that meet regional regulations.
Business Group Support: Offer assistance and answers to the business group regarding ESS products, training, and business group client introductions as necessary to ensure effective use of our frameworks.
Account Rate Installation: Install account rates on Simple Boat frameworks for clients upon demand from the business.
Competitor Analysis: Assess competitors' shipment handling frameworks and products through direct local comparison with DHL products, client feedback, and other means to drive continuous improvement.
System Maintenance: Ensure all systems are up-to-date, upgraded, tested, and working correctly before delivery to clients to guarantee smooth transitions with minimal disruption.
Collaboration and Solution Development: Work closely with the Area/local team, KSA IT, and APIS to develop solutions and processes or changes to existing products to continuously exceed client expectations.
Data Accuracy and Integrity: Ensure client data is modernized and refreshed at all destinations as raised by DHL partners, and guarantee data accuracy is maintained as per country/provincial Operations/IT team requirements.
Manifest Data Return: Check and ensure 100% manifest data return from all ESS locales monitored via the ESS gateway, resulting in significant cost savings for DHL.
Nature and Scope of the Role
Beyond the key responsibilities, you'll also be expected to:
Support the Charging Team: Help the Charging team with reports from client frameworks to identify disparities in charging, enabling prompt corrective action to achieve DOS targets.
Conduct Quarterly Reviews: Perform quarterly reviews (impromptu updates) of all client frameworks, updating records for equipment count, serial, and model numbers, and tracking adjustments.
Coordinate with Administration and Operations Teams: Organize quarterly meetings with Administration area Administrators and Operations group leaders to discuss potential automation opportunities or recurring client issues.
ESS Targets and KPI's: Ensure ESS targets and KPI's imparted by the ESS director are met.
e-AWB Distribution Management: Oversee the seamless assignment of e-AWB to new and existing clients, maximizing the country's e-AWB reach.
Stock Administration: Raise and follow-up on orders, secure stocks, maintain re-order levels, and conduct stock checks of the ESS Store.
Dynamic Participation in Integration Projects: Actively participate in selling, coordinating, supporting, investigating, and executing integration projects as assigned by the eShipping and Client Arrangements Chief.
