Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Remote Data Entry Specialist to join our team at blithequark. This is a fully remote role, offering you the flexibility to work from anywhere, at any time, as long as you have a reliable internet connection and a quiet, dedicated workspace. As a Remote Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for executing strategies that support the growth of ocean volumes, enhancing the development of the ocean product, and analyzing carrier service, routings, and performance. You will work closely with the Managing Director of Ocean, sales, and operations teams to communicate direction, deliverables, and market conditions, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures to minimize risks. Key Responsibilities Execute strategies to support the growth of ocean volumes and enhance the development of the ocean product Work closely with the Managing Director of Ocean to support carrier development, pricing, and analyzing of carrier service, routings, and performance Support sales and operations as an ocean subject matter expert, providing guidance and expertise to drive business growth Implement and communicate strategies to increase volumes, maximize competitiveness, enhance service, and support adherence to preferred networks Assist in implementing pricing programs, reviewing volume targets, and developing an ocean strategy to enhance sales effectiveness and achieve account development and yield enhancement expectations Communicate internally and externally to outline strategy, market conditions, and direction, working closely with the global trade lane team, sales, and operations Direct and indirect customer contact will be required, providing exceptional customer service and support to drive business growth and satisfaction Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong and diverse skillset in relevant areas, including: Experience in data entry, logistics, or a related field, with a proven track record of driving success and growth Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop strategic solutions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex information to diverse stakeholders Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork Strong attention to detail, with a high level of accuracy and quality in all aspects of work Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, with a flexible and resilient approach to work Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: Experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with a proven ability to work effectively in a self-directed setting Knowledge of logistics and transportation industry, with a strong understanding of ocean freight and carrier management Experience with data analysis and reporting tools, with the ability to develop and implement data-driven solutions Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines Experience working with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and customer service Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex information to diverse stakeholders Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop strategic solutions Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork Strong attention to detail, with a high level of accuracy and quality in all aspects of work Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, with a flexible and resilient approach to work Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
