About the Role As a Remote Data Entry Operator at blithequark, you will be responsible for entering large amounts of data into our customer information system and other Public Works software with a high degree of speed and accuracy. This position is a vital part of our Customer Service Division within Business Operations, requiring independent thinking, good judgement, and personal initiative. Key Responsibilities Establish and maintain utility accounts with precision and attention to detail. Verify account eligibility and accessibility to ensure compliance with company standards. Prepare, distribute, and complete work orders efficiently, adhering to deadlines. Prepare files for mass customer communications, ensuring data accuracy and relevance. Assist with mailing billing statements and other notices generated in-house, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. Scan or retain documents as necessary, adhering to company protocols for data storage and management. Perform monthly audits of incomplete account transfer requests to identify and resolve discrepancies. Enter data into Key Performance Indicator (KPI) tracking databases to support business intelligence and decision-making. Perform other related duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities. Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must meet the following minimum qualifications: High School Diploma or an acceptable equivalency diploma (GED). A minimum of two (2) years of experience as a high-volume data entry operator or typist, showcasing your ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure. Pass computer skills, typing and accuracy, and 10-key skills testing to demonstrate your proficiency in data entry and related software applications. Preferred Qualifications While not mandatory, the following qualifications are highly preferred: Associate's degree in Business Administration, Data Entry, or a related field, highlighting your educational background in a relevant discipline. Two (2) years of experience as a high-volume data entry operator or typist, further solidifying your expertise in data management and entry. Passing computer skills, typing and accuracy, and 10-key skills testing, ensuring you possess the necessary technical skills for the role.
