As a Remote Data Entry Clerk, you'll be responsible for collecting and capturing data into our databases in a timely and accurate manner. You'll liaise with employees and customers to gather information, identify and correct errors, and bring them to the attention of relevant parties. Data Entry: Enter customer and account data by inputting alphabetic and numeric information on keyboard or optical scanner according to screen format. Data Verification: Verify entered customer and account data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data. File Maintenance: Purge files to eliminate duplication of data and ensure data integrity. System Testing: Test customer and account system changes and upgrades by inputting new data. Data Security: Secure information by completing database backups. Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience: Data entry experience or related office experience preferred. Computer Skills: Basic computer courses or experience with data entry software. Preferred Qualifications: Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
