About the Role We are seeking an experienced Data Entry and Live Chat Specialist to join our team in Costa Rica. As a key member of our Customer Listening Team, you will be responsible for handling the end-to-end Voice of the Customer (VOC) process, which includes designing and programming customer experience surveys, analyzing data, and providing insights to drive business growth. With over 5 million surveys received from clients each year, this is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our customer-centric approach. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with utility teams to outline, frame, and capture business needs, leveraging your expertise in VOC methods to drive transformation and innovation Develop and maintain a robust data model architecture to support efficient data processing and standardized metric definitions Design and build big data and batch/real-time analytical solutions using transformational technologies such as Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, and Python Deliver innovative solutions, ensuring data quality and accuracy through extensive testing at variable and use case levels Provide guidance to enhance competencies and drive efficiency in computing programs using big data ecosystems Proactively identify and automate manual tasks to improve quality and efficiency Collaborate with partners from GSN and AET to prioritize, define, increase, and test data for various use cases as part of the VOC end-to-end process Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you should have: Hands-on experience with Hive/Hadoop, Pyspark, Python, Shell Scripting Languages, development launch management, and troubleshooting understanding for data-driven projects (minimum 3 years) Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, including product owners, stakeholders, and technical teams Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and provide actionable insights Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are desirable: Experience with cloud-based technologies such as AWS or Azure Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI Experience with machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling Certification in data science or a related field What We Offer At blithequark, we prioritize the well-being and growth of our colleagues, offering a range of benefits, including: Competitive base salaries and bonus incentives Support for financial well-being and retirement Flexible working models, including hybrid, on-site, or digital arrangements Generous paid parental leave policies (depending on location) Free access to on-site health facilities staffed with nurses and doctors (depending on location) Free and confidential counseling aid through our Healthy Minds program Career development and education opportunities Our Culture At blithequark, we value diversity, equity, and inclusion, recognizing that our differences are what make us stronger.
