Job Overview In this part-time role, you will be an integral part of our fulfillment team, responsible for ensuring that customer orders are accurately processed, packed, and shipped in a timely manner. Key Responsibilities Receive and put away inventory, ensuring that all products are accurately labeled and stored in their designated areas Get customer orders ready and pack them up, ensuring that all items are accurately picked, packed, and shipped in a timely manner Load boxes into trucks for shipment, ensuring that all packages are securely loaded and ready for transport Use scanners to read bar codes on products, ensuring that all items are accurately tracked and recorded View prompts on screens and follow the direction for some tasks, utilizing technology to streamline processes and improve efficiency Troubleshoot problems, utilizing critical thinking and problem-solving skills to resolve issues and improve processes Ensure product meets quality requirements, conducting regular quality checks to ensure that all products meet blithequark's high standards Operate power industrial trucks (PIT) such as a forklift or pallet driver, and work at heights up to 35 feet, utilizing equipment training and certification provided by blithequark Physical Demands In this role, you will be required to: Lift up to 49 pounds, utilizing proper lifting techniques to ensure safety and prevent injury Push utility carts up to 60 pounds, utilizing carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts, utilizing regular breaks to rest and recharge Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around, ensuring that all equipment is used safely and efficiently Go up and down stairs (where applicable), utilizing handrails and proper footwork to prevent slips and falls Work at a height of up to 40 feet on a mezzanine (where applicable), utilizing safety equipment and following all safety protocols Adhere to strict safety, quality, and fulfillment production standards, ensuring that all processes are followed and all products meet blithequark's high standards What It's Like Working at blithequark At blithequark, we prioritize the safety and well-being of our employees, providing a supportive and inclusive work environment that fosters growth and development.
