About the Role As a Call Center Representative at blithequark, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our patient enrollment and data entry processes. You'll work closely with our pharmacists, patients, and other stakeholders to resolve issues, answer queries, and provide top-notch support. This is a full-time remote position, offering a competitive hourly salary of $25-$35. Key Responsibilities Utilize blithequark's solution data entry techniques and guidelines to process new patient enrollments by entering information into the appropriate system. Handle patient prescription requests within HIPAA guidelines and enter refill orders for processing. Investigate to obtain missing prescription information and decipher clinical abbreviations (SIG codes). Resolve all data entry-related exceptions and handle correspondence to patients (inbound calls, visits, messages) and make outbound calls to prescribers and patients as needed. Settle Third Party Oddballs by examining, gathering information, making adjustments, and resubmitting for processing according to individual claim requirements. Provide support to Pharmacists, both those in the office and those in other locations, and identify and communicate issues to senior-level staff as appropriate. Obtain a valid technician permit or certification within the first 90 days and maintain a functioning professional permit or certification. Essential Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Basic level PC skills, including startup and shutdown, using the mouse, starting and closing programs, switching between programs, saving files, printing reports, and accessing information online. Basic web browsing skills, including opening a browser, typing in URLs, using a search engine, bookmarking a webpage, navigating using back/forward/stop buttons, and completing forms online. Intermediate-level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, formatting documents). Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. 18 years old or older. Preferred Qualifications At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience in a retail or call center environment. A minimum of 1.5 years as a pharmacy technician with certification/registration by the state as approved by the State Board for Pharmacy or a widely recognized certification agency. Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services and assessment of customer satisfaction. Intermediate to advanced-level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, formatting documents). Proficiency in both Spanish and English.
