Job Summary As a Remote Bookkeeper with Bosun Solutions, you will be responsible for recording and maintaining business financial transactions, such as purchases, expenses, sales revenue, invoices, and payments. You will record financial data into general ledgers, which are used to produce balance sheets and income statements. You will also monitor cash flow and produce financial reports to assist managers in strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements to ensure accuracy and detect any discrepancies or irregularities. Accounts Receivable: Manage and maintain accurate records of accounts receivable, including invoicing, payment tracking, and follow-up on outstanding balances. Accounts Payable: Process and manage accounts payable, including verifying invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies, and maintaining accurate records. Payroll Services: Provide payroll support, including processing payroll, managing benefits, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Expense Management: Manage and track business expenses, ensuring accurate recording and reimbursement. Cash Flow Statements: Prepare and analyze cash flow statements to provide insights into the company's financial position. Financial Reporting: Produce financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and other financial metrics, to support strategic decision-making. Invoicing: Create and manage invoices, ensuring accurate and timely billing. Tax Filing: Assist with tax filing and compliance, ensuring accurate and timely submission of tax returns. Requirements and Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting and/or bookkeeping. Payroll Experience: Experience with payroll processing and management. QuickBooks: In-depth understanding of QuickBooks (online). Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree: A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
