Job Overview In this role, you will be part of the Methodology, Change, and Automated Controls (STAC) team within CEDA, which drives key needs, data as a "product," and change office supporting all scientific capabilities. Your primary responsibility will be to analyze complex data sets, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders. You will work closely with business line and enterprise capabilities to deliver less complex research, utilize functional data to aid non-model quantitative tools, and perform analysis of findings and patterns using statistical analysis. Key Responsibilities Conduct interviews with business line and enterprise capabilities on less complex research Utilize functional data to aid non-model quantitative tools that support key independent direction Perform analysis of findings and patterns using statistical analysis and document process Presentation of suggestions to increment income, reduce cost, expand functional efficiency, quality, and compliance Identify and define business requirements and translate data and business needs into analysis and suggestions to improve productivity Participate in all group technology efforts, including design and implementation of database structures, analysis software, storage, and processing Develop customized reports and ad-hoc analyses to make recommendations and provide guidance to less experienced staff Ensure compliance and risk management requirements for supported areas Guarantee adherence to data management or data governance guidelines and policies Participate in company-wide initiatives or processes to help meet risk and capital targets and other strategic objectives Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have: 2+ years of investigation experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as mathematics, statistics, computer science, or economics Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret large data sets Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Experience creating SAS-based solutions Experience creating SQL-based solutions Experience with Agile development methodologies Working knowledge of Unix Test-driven development experience Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a high-volume environment Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Strong time management and organizational skills Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Wells Fargo, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
