Position Description: CGI has an immediate need for a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced team environment supporting one of the largest customers. A hybrid working model is acceptable. Your future duties and responsibilities: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior AWS Cloud DevOps Engineer to lead cloud infrastructure initiatives and application deployments on AWS. This role involves designing and executing strategic cloud solutions, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring application resiliency and performance. The ideal candidate will be hands-on with automation, scripting, and cloud-native services, and will play a key role in supporting production environments and driving DevOps best practices across the organization. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: . Proven expertise in deploying and maintaining applications on AWS Cloud. . Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines using Terraform and GitLab. . Hands-on knowledge of ECS, EC2, and AWS resiliency services. . Proficiency in scripting languages such as Java, Python, PHP, and Node.js. . Experience with serverless architecture and AWS services like Lambda. . Familiarity with AWS DevOps tools: CodeCommit, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, and CodePipeline. . Solid understanding of application monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. . Ability to develop and execute shakeout and resiliency plans. . Experience building automation testing frameworks. . Strong documentation skills including architecture diagrams and deployment guides. . Comfortable working in Agile environments and participating in team ceremonies. . Familiarity with other cloud platforms such as Azure or GCP is a plus. . Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. . Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Solutions Architect) are a strong plus. . Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering and DevOps roles. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $85,100.00 - $121,200.00.
