Job Overview
The Remote Accountant for Assets and Projects will play a critical role in providing financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data. As a liaison between the corporate office and facilities, you will provide analysis and support in decision-making, creating and submitting cash funding requests, documenting financial transactions, and participating in other financial activities. Key Responsibilities
Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information
Document financial transactions and substantiate them by auditing documents
Create and submit cash funding requests, and reconcile urgent check accounts and request wire transfers when necessary
Perform other duties as assigned or directed to ensure the smooth operation of the department
Be available outside of normal business hours for occasional support needs
Collaborate with management to prioritize and plan work activities and projects
Review and validate financial information assumptions and methodology based on a thorough understanding of financial concepts
Essential Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or other business-related degree
Demonstrated accuracy and thoroughness with data, with the ability to monitor own work to ensure quality
