Experienced Regional Chief Pilot - New York City Location - Airline Operations Leadership and Management

About the Role We are seeking an experienced Regional Chief Pilot to lead our Flight Operations team at our crew bases in JFK, LGA, and CVG. As a Regional Chief Pilot, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our Flight Operations team, leading our Base Management teams, and ensuring Pilot competence and qualification with regards to safety, regulatory, and communication requirements. Key Responsibilities Lead and direct activities at crew bases to achieve Flight Plan Goals Work collaboratively with others to ensure consistency and best practices are followed Establish and account for Flight Operations base goals, initiatives, and operational performance metrics Build positive relationships within the department and across the organization Establish and evaluate standards of performance and appearance for the flight operations department Conduct special projects as required Participate in the SMS program as established by the Director, Safety and Compliance Participate as a member of the Flight Standards review board Work with the management team to ensure Pilots comply with Company Policy and FARs Directly supervise assigned Flight Operations Base Managers and participate in hiring and promoting decisions Review potential discipline and/or termination cases for pilots Participate in grievance hearings, mediation, and arbitrations Responsible for base budgets and management staffing (forecasting and maintenance) Establish, support, and maintain agreements between the Union and the Company through effective communication and interaction with union representatives Establish guidelines and performance development policies for Flight Ops Conduct and participate in base meetings, departmental staff meetings, and Pilot meetings Conduct Base Manager Performance reviews, coaching, and development Review, trend operational performance for Flt Ops, and implement process improvements Promote and maintain employee morale and diversity Incorporate performance recognition per Company programs for the base Maintain a high level of knowledge and ensure compliance in the areas of Company Policy, FOM, FAA Regulations, and Collective Bargaining Agreement Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and related experience 3 years of experience in airline operations or comparable experience 1 year of supervisory experience or equivalent Must be a Captain or Captain eligible by the time of applying for the role Airline Transport Pilot license Ability to meet the requirements of FAR 119.67 for Chief Pilot Strong work ethic, reliable, self-motivated with a positive attitude Strong business acumen and experience working with all levels of an organization Very strong analytical, interpretive, and organizational skills Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on communication and problem resolution Proficient in Microsoft Office, including strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, including the charting, trending, and presenting of complex data Preferred Qualifications Previous experience as a Chief Pilot or in a similar leadership role Knowledge of FAA regulations and industry standards Experience with collective bargaining agreements and labor relations Strong understanding of airline operations and management principles Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Endeavor Air, we are committed to providing our employees with opportunities for growth and development. Compensation, Perks, and Benefits We offer a competitive total compensation package, which includes a salary range of $150,000 - $205,000 per year, depending on experience.
