Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Radiology Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Charlotte, North Carolina. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team. This is a 13-week assignment with 12-hour shifts, 3 days a week, and offers a competitive salary of $2,503 per week, with $1,752 in wages and $751 in stipend. Key Responsibilities Perform radiologic procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs, to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, explaining the procedure and positioning them correctly Operate radiologic equipment, including X-ray machines, CT scanners, and MRI machines Monitor patients during procedures and report any adverse reactions to the radiologist or other healthcare team members Maintain patient records and radiologic images, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare team members to provide high-quality patient care Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest standards of patient care and safety Essential Qualifications 2 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist BLS certification National and state certification as a Radiology Technologist (and/or as required) Ability to work 12-hour shifts, 3 days a week Ability to travel to Charlotte, North Carolina, and live 60 miles away from the facility Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a fast-paced healthcare environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records Skills and Competencies Strong knowledge of radiologic procedures and equipment Ability to operate radiologic equipment, including X-ray machines, CT scanners, and MRI machines Strong patient assessment and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare team members Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Vetted Health, we are committed to helping our team members grow and develop in their careers.
