About the Role We are seeking an experienced and results-driven QA Test Lead to join our Netflix Game Studio team, responsible for delivering the next generation of video games to a global audience. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage a test team towards individual and team excellence, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement Coordinate test areas with internal staff and vendor QA groups, ensuring seamless communication and effective project management Drive test development, estimation, planning, execution, reporting, and closure, utilizing your expertise in test planning and project management Project manage and maintain testing schedules for all game titles in your area, ensuring timely delivery and meeting business deadlines Own and drive requirements gathering and risk identification, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that testing is aligned with business objectives Conduct hands-on testing of game functionality across the Android/iOS device universe and other consumer devices, identifying and reporting defects and issues Lead live operations testing as titles release, ensuring a smooth and seamless user experience Develop and identify appropriate tooling and frameworks to support testing efforts, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices Coach and develop talent across the department, mentoring team members and helping them grow in their careers Essential Qualifications Minimum 5 years of industry experience in Game Development, Live Service, and Mobile gaming QA, with a deep understanding of the gaming industry and its trends Minimum 3 years of experience leading test teams, with a proven track record of success in managing and motivating teams Minimum 3 years of QA project management experience, with expertise in test planning, execution, and closure Prior experience in mobile games testing, with exceptional iOS/Android testing skills and knowledge of technical requirements, tools, and processes Demonstrated experience in translating requirements into effective test cases, with a strong understanding of testing principles and methodologies Proven ability to work both remotely and independently, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills Passion for games and a commitment to quality, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional user experiences Preferred Qualifications Certifications: PMP, Scrum Master, and/or Product Owner, ISTQB, with a strong understanding of agile methodologies and testing frameworks Coding knowledge: XML/HTML, JavaScript, Python, Java, C/C++/C#, SQL, with experience in programming languages and software development PC/Web experience or the ability to learn, with a strong understanding of computer systems and software applications Experience with JIRA, TestRail, and TCM tools, with expertise in test management and defect tracking systems Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Netflix, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop in their careers. Compensation, Perks, and Benefits We offer a competitive salary range of $50,000 - $250,000 USD, depending on experience and qualifications.
