Our team is responsible for managing complex media workflows, delivering thousands of Disney-owned assets daily to service providers worldwide, including Disney streaming services. Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to join our Broadcast & Content Services team. As a senior member of the team, you will play a critical role in developing, operating, and maintaining media workflows that support media supply chains for US domestic networks and studios owned by The Walt Disney Company. You will be responsible for developing and executing test plans, managing QA resources, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality media products. Key Responsibilities Plan and assign QA work to team members, ensuring efficient use of resources and effective testing strategies. Develop and execute test scripts based on functional specifications, ensuring thorough testing of applications such as Mediator, MediaHub, BPM, and SDVI. Participate in hands-on testing, including functional and regression testing, to identify and report defects. Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve testing issues and ensure seamless integration of media workflows. Work with vendor development teams to report and verify bugs, ensuring timely resolution and high-quality deliverables. Define test scope for each testing cycle, ensuring comprehensive coverage of media workflows and applications. Lead and train offshore QA team members, ensuring knowledge sharing and consistent testing practices. Utilize Jira for defect tracking and test execution, ensuring accurate reporting and efficient issue resolution. Conduct end-to-end testing of workflows that span multiple applications, ensuring seamless integration and high-quality output. Document test cases for new functionalities, ensuring knowledge sharing and consistent testing practices. Essential Qualifications 5+ years of relevant experience in a similar role, with a strong background in media workflows and supply chain management. Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as computer science, engineering, or a equivalent work experience. Deep expertise in media workflows and supply chain management, including broadcast and VOD playout systems. Highly proficient in media asset management systems and workflow orchestrators, such as Evertz Mediator and Signiant's Reach Engine. Experience with 3rd party vendor solutions from Telestream, Imagine, SDVI, Evertz, Signiant, and Aspera. Deep knowledge of broadcast and VOD standards, with a strong understanding of industry trends and technologies. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with leadership and business partners daily. Preferred Qualifications Experience with internal Disney tools, such as Media Hub, with a strong understanding of Disney's media workflows and supply chain management. Knowledge of agile development methodologies and experience with Jira, with a strong understanding of test planning and execution. Experience with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS or Azure, with a strong understanding of cloud-based media workflows and supply chain management. Skills and Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop creative solutions. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Strong attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and ensuring seamless integration of media workflows. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong understanding of industry trends and technologies.
