About the Role We are seeking talented and passionate software engineers to join our client's team as Python/Linux Software Engineers. Key Responsibilities Analyze user requirements to inform software design and performance requirements, ensuring that solutions meet the needs of end-users. Design or implement complex database or data repositories interfaces/queries, leveraging your expertise in data management to drive project success. Develop and implement algorithms to meet or exceed system performance and functional standards, utilizing your knowledge of software development principles and methodologies. Develop software solutions by analyzing system performance standards, conferring with users to analyze system flow, data usage, and work processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration. Utilize your experience with LINUX/UNIX and Python to drive project success, leveraging your skills in programming languages and operating systems to develop innovative solutions. Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline) plus seven (7) years of experience as a Software Engineer in similar roles. Experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for degrees. Experience analyzing user requirements to inform software design and performance requirements, with a strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies. Experience designing or implementing complex database or data repositories interfaces/queries, with a strong foundation in data management and software development. Experience developing and implementing algorithms to meet or exceed system performance and functional standards, with a strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies. Experience developing software solutions by analyzing system performance standards, conferring with users to analyze system flow, data usage, and work processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration. LINUX/UNIX and Python experience, with a strong foundation in programming languages and operating systems. Clearance Requirements A Top Secret/SCI clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph (FS Poly) is required for consideration. No CCAs, sponsorships, or upgrades will be considered. Location and Telework Arrangements Onsite work is located in Annapolis Junction, MD (NBP), with up to 16 hours of telework available per week, depending on the position. This flexible arrangement allows you to balance your work and personal life, with the opportunity to work from home or remotely. Compensation and Benefits For qualified candidates, salaries can reach up to $250,000 per year, with an additional week of paid time off (PTO), a new computer, and a 10% contribution to a 401(k) plan provided. Fully paid health insurance is also included, making this a comprehensive and competitive compensation package.
