Job Overview We are excited to announce an immediate opening for a Program Aide - Wage Fueler at our College Station, TX location. As a key member of our Transportation Services team, you will be responsible for assisting in bus fueling, interior and exterior cleaning and detailing of Transit buses, and performing other duties as required. Key Responsibilities Assist in bus fueling, ensuring that all vehicles are properly fueled and ready for operation Perform interior and exterior cleaning and detailing of Transit buses, maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organization Perform other duties as required, including multitasking and adapting to changing priorities Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective operations Provide excellent customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills: High school graduation or equivalent combination of education and experience Valid vehicle operator's license and good driving record Ability to obtain State of Texas class "B" vehicle operator's license (Commercial Driver's License with passenger endorsement and air brakes endorsement) within 60 days of employment Ability to lift or move heavy objects, stand and/or move for extended periods of time Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate records and reports Preferred Qualifications Commercial vehicle operator's license with passenger endorsement and air brakes endorsement Previous experience in a related field, such as transportation or maintenance Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential hazards What We Offer In return for your hard work and dedication, we offer a competitive salary of $15 per hour, as well as a range of benefits and perks, including: Opportunities for professional growth and development, with training and support to help you succeed A dynamic and supportive work environment, with a team of experienced professionals who are passionate about their work A comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance, including employee recognition programs and bonuses Career Growth Opportunities At Texas A&M University, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop in their careers.
