We're now seeking an experienced Procurement Clerk (Data Entry) to join our team in Plano, TX. As a key member of our procurement team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our internal systems, managing high volumes of purchase orders, and collaborating with suppliers and internal stakeholders to drive business success.
**About the Role**
As an experienced Procurement Clerk (Data Entry), you'll be responsible for:
* Accurately creating and entering purchase orders based on data from multiple formats/sources
* Monitoring and tracking inbound materials, coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders
* Working closely with the Receiving Team to validate and process incoming materials
* Resolving PO discrepancies or issues related to tracking, receipt, or vendor communication
* Maintaining up-to-date records of order statuses and inventory data in Excel and internal systems
* Managing high-volume email communication with vendors and internal departments
* Supporting logistics coordination efforts to ensure timely and accurate delivery
* Assisting in process improvements related to data entry and PO tracking
**What We're Looking For**
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* At least 1 year of experience in high-volume data entry or purchasing support role (procurement, material handling, and/or logistics)
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy under time-sensitive conditions
* Knowledge of procurement processes, logistics, and MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, Acumatica, etc.)
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with heavy use of Excel
* Sharp analytical mindset with effective problem-solving capabilities
* Ability to work in a collaborative environment that values precision, initiative, and follow-through
