Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality, compassionate care to clients in their homes Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming Support clients with mobility and transfer needs Administer medications and treatments as directed Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams Document client care and activities accurately and timely Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must: Maintain a current CNA or HHA Certificate Be able to read and write in English Possess the ability to lift 50 pounds Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are highly valued: Previous experience as a Private In-Home Aide (HHA/CNA) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexibility in scheduling and availability Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you'll need: Compassion and empathy for clients and their families Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Effective communication and problem-solving skills Physical stamina to perform caregiving tasks Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Deaconess Abundant Life Communities, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop in their careers.
